football in the rain ... in BAKERSFIELD!

Seriously, we never get rain, but of course, it had to rain this Saturday morning for Grant's first football game of the 2008 season. The other team didn't have enough players, so they won by forfeit, and for part of the game, Grant played on the other team's side to even it out. He did a good job ... had one ball carry and "tackled" one player ... which you can see here in one of the pictures ... he's number 72 chasing #75 (his own teammate!).

It was a fun experience, but we were a little wet for the ride to Tehachapi (see next post).
